We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network who have a position as a Custodian! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. As a Custodian Team Member, you will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service possible, playing a key role in ensuring that buildings and shared spaces are ready to be enjoyed by all.
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
• SHIFT: Varies between 4:00am – 6:00 pm. LOCATION: Butler County Pennsylvania
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Maintain the physical cleanliness and orderliness of the site by completing duties such as, but not limited to sweeping, cleaning, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, washing, and dusting. Specific locations may require additional functions and frequency of performance which are detailed in each contract.
a) Regular
- Dust all office furniture-horizontal
- Remove smudges and stains-furniture tops
- Dust sills, ledges, fixtures, etc. – to 7 feet
b) Washrooms/Lounges
- Clean and disinfect fixtures
- Clean and service all dispensers
- Clean mirrors, sills, ledges, shelving
- Waste receptacles- empty and dispose of trash
- Spot clean doors, door frames, light switch areas
- Clean tables
c) Floor Maintenance
- Carpeting – vacuum and spot clean
- Walk-off mats – vacuum or sweep
- Hard surfaced – sweep with chemical treated mop
- Vacuum and clean entrances and lobby
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior general cleaning experience preferred.
- For Custodians employed at the Boyer site: Current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and acceptable driving record obtained through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is preferred but not required.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
- Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance may be required (as per contract requirements.)
- For Custodians employed at Boyers site: FBI Clearance required. (This clearance is processed by OPM.)
- Successful pre-employment physical with fitness for duty statement
COMPENSATION
• This position pays $17.75/hour.
