ResponsibilitiesSociété Générale Canada’s Compliance Department has a broad compliance mandate. This mandate encompasses AML, sanctions, surveillance, regulatory reporting, advisory, registrations, technical reviews, testing and monitoring, regulatory watch, project management, connectivity and more.The main responsibilities for this role include:Perform compliance reviews on various processes such as personal transactions, outside business activities, conflicts of interest, regulatory registration, etc. The frequency of such reviews can be daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annuallyContribute to the preparation of compliance routine reportsPrepare monthly compliance metrics by sourcing data from key business partnersIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline metrics reporting. Assist other reporting needsAssist in process improvement and in the design and documentation of compliance monitoring and testing procedures Perform and/or review key control testing where appropriateContribute to the digitization of the Compliance DepartmentParticipate in the drafting of Compliance policiesAssist the team during on-site regulatory/audit examinations, investigations, enquiries, etc.Act as a back-up as neededParticipate in projects as needed.A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility.
