SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICER

You will serve as a SECURITY OFFICER in the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific of EXPED WARFARE TRNG GRP PACIFIC.


  • You will serve as Special Security Officer (SSO), providing security management, training, and administrative expertise for implementation and management of the Joint Expeditionary Warfare Lab’s Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
  • You will manage and determine the SCIF mission, tasks and functions supporting Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, PACIFIC (EWTGPAC).
  • You will advise and assistance the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Director and staff on how to best administer policies to properly maintain the Joint Expeditionary Warfare Lab’s SCIF.
  • You will establish policy, directives, plans and procedures for management of comprehensive and uniform Security Program requirements supporting Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, PACIFIC (EWTGPAC)’s SCIF.
  • You will represents Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, PACIFIC (EWTGPAC) to outside organizations in all matters related to the Special Security Programs for the SCIF.
  • You will serve as a Technical expert on SCIF operations, concepts, principles and practices to advise top level officials and subject matter managers on new developments and advances in protection tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting policies and standards, to plan and implement protective methods and security procedures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities to analyze and resolve vulnerabilities and security issues and to maintain compliance with security program requirements.
