OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT

You will serve as a OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Maintenance Department of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.


  • You will perform administrative and clerical duties in support of work of a moderately complex organization, where there is a system of formal internal procedures and administrative controls.
  • You will provide typing services for the department including letters, messages, reports and enlisted and civilian performance evaluations.
  • You will process and track correspondence and directives for departments.
  • You will maintain accurate time and attendance records for department personnel.
  • You will assist with travel requests, vouchers and related reports.
  • You will arrange for repair and/or replacement of office equipment.
  • You will establish and maintain office records of various types that may be needed or will assist in the efficient operation of the office.
  • You will prepare varied documents with complex formats such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, special reports, briefings and manuals using the advanced functions of office software.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector using automated systems, in an office setting, to prepare and edit correspondence and documents, and track and maintain records, to ensure requirements and procedures are being followed.
