Job Title: Mechanical EngineerPay Rate: $69 /hrLocation: Norwood, MAArea Code: 339, 781ZIP Code: 02062Start Date: Right AwayKeywords: #MechanicalEngineer #AerospaceJobs #AerospaceEngineerJob Description:Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace measurement and control systems used in aircraft and engine environmentsResponsibilities:* Support DO‑160 environmental qualification activities, including vibration, thermal cycling, shock, and mechanical stress testing, in collaboration with test and certification teams* Generate and review mechanical design documentation, drawings, BOMs, and engineering change records in accordance with company"s standards* Support laboratory testing, instrumentation setup, and test execution for environmental and qualification testing* Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective design actions* Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory and customer requirements* Support certification documentation and compliance artifacts for aerospace and defense customersEducation and Experience:* Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline* Experience performing or supporting RTCA DO‑160 environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, altitude, humidity)* Experience with mechanical design for aerospace or aviation hardware* Experience creating engineering drawings and documentation* Experience supporting avionics, aerospace instrumentation, or aircraft engine-related hardware preferred* Experience supporting certification or qualification programs for commercial or military aerospace applications is a plusSkills and Knowledge:* Must be a U.S. citizen* Ability to work hands-on in a laboratory or test environment* Familiarity with aerospace quality and compliance standards (AS9100, configuration management) is a plus* Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills* Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities* Effective verbal and written communicationIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
