FIRES AND EFFECTS PLANNER
You will serve as a Deputy Chief of Plans in the Joint Integrated Fires and Effects Center of the MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER.
- You will be the lead planner for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO) programs.
- You will be responsible for leading up to 30 team members during normal operations as well as in crisis situations or major combat missions.

- You will oversee joint and component fires plans, as well as joint-funded war games and exercises. This includes convening teams or study groups to analyze and review fires.
- You will assist in devising strike plans, selecting strike packages, developing long-range plans to identify critical support areas.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector translating DoN, DoD, and related guidance into actionable plans; analyzing complex operational problems and developing solutions in high-pressure environments; strong written and oral communication skills to coordinate between multiple contacts and brief senior and flag-level leadership; planning, programming, budgeting, and executing processes related to Navy & Marine Corp manpower, force design, and integration.
