Electricians Apprenticeship
Work is for Electrical construction, installation, demo, or maintenance and repair. This career offers a wide variety of work from lighting to industrial motors, indoors or outdoors, different job sites, and a Union atmosphere of Brotherhood, as well as On the Job Training.
Electrical Construction. Apprenticeship is paid on the job while learning from an experienced electrician, and expanding on that knowledge two nights a week in the classroom. Health care ands pension benefits are included and advancement as you successfully progress in apprenticeship, with the backing of the IBEW, the worlds largest electrical union.
Requirements
A valid drivers license is required, high school level algebra, and transcripts showing graduation date, or a GED is required. All applicants must take an aptitude test, and in most cases receive a passing score. All applicants who pass or have documentation will get an interview, and be placed on a ranking list based on interview scores. Please bring a copy of your DD2-14 upon your release from Service. All applicants who are selected must pass a physical, and drug test.
