DEPUTY PUBLIC WORKS OFFICER

  • You will provide all facility support, and coordination of environmental services, for the installation.
  • You will assign work based on priorities, consideration of difficulty and requirements of the assignment and capability of the employee.
  • You will cooperate and participate in the labor-management partnership and work to resolve issues in a timely, equitable manner at the lowest possible level.
  • You will ensure compliance with regulations governing budget, accounting and expenditures and that the maintenance, utilities and transportation products and services.
  • You will serve as the senior civilian supervisor of the Public Works Branch (PWB) responsible for oversight, review, coordination and execution of the facilities management, planning, engineering, acquisition, construction and operation support.

Requirements

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying the principle and concepts of planning, prioritizing, preparing, executing, tracking and implementing the control and distribution of sustainment, maintenance and repair, facility service, utilities and transportation funding AND to track and manage organizations frequently changing workload priorities and injection of unforeseen projects.
