Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cook II prepares patient and cafeteria food, special functions according to planned menus, using standardized recipes and production sheets. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

What qualifications you will need:

• A minimum of two years in quantity cooking, prefer hospital/healthcare experience of one year
• Culinary training from an accredited program preferred
• Basic knowledge of quantity food preparation, utilizing large equipment
• Food Handlers Card Required
• Practice of special diets
• Creativity in food preparation and presentation
• Practices food cost control principles relative to production
• Adherence to standardized recipes, portion control and labeling and dating
• Able to follow instructions
